Error starting conversion. Details: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Whenever I try to backup a DVD to iPhone, I get this annoying error. Any idea how to resolve this? Thanks.

You are using M2Convert Pro application, is this correct?
Do you get the error when trying to convert your DVD to iPhone format?
Please provide me with more details about how to reproduce the problem on my side?

I get the message when I try to backup a DVD to iPhone format and if I try to convert .avi files to iPhone. These are the only types that I have tried. Thanks for your help.

Do you get the error during the conversion process or before it?
To resolve the problem, try the following:
- Uninstall M2Convert product from your machine while your computer is connected to the internet.
- Reboot your machine.
- Reinstall M2Convert product on your machine and try the same issue.
If the problem persists, please let me know.

I installed the K-Lite Codecs and now it works fine. Thanks.

Great now it's not working. I don't know what the deal is. I don't have any other programs running and I can't figure out what is causing this freakin error!

Did you install any multimedia application or software recently on your machine?
The problem might be related to a conflict on your machine.
To narrow down the problem possibilities on your side, can you please try to install the M2convert application on a different machine and try using it?
