problems with LTMM Error
Reply Quote
Hello can anyone out there help me, with the following message which I am now getting everytime I try to copy a DVD to my iTunes folder.

Everytime I try to convert a DVD I get the following message within about 15 seconds of starting the procedure, which is: Error: LTMM Error: Cannot allocate memory because no size has been set. (0x80040212)

Any help given would be very much appreciated. Please bear in mind I am hopeless with all the jargon etc.

Can you play your DVDs correctly using Windows Media Player? If yes, can you tell me what is the name of your DVD playiong software installed on your computer?

Also, please try to convert your DVDs using this approach and tell me if it helps:
1. Convert your DVDs using the 'VIDEO_TS.IFO' file inside the 'VIDEO_TS' folder in the DVD disk.
2. Click on the Edit Playlist button.
3. From the Edit Playlist dialog, you will see the list of the titles and chapters included in your DVD, select the main title that has the movie.
4. Click on the Audio button to open the "Select Audio Stream" dialog, and select the Audio stream that you need to convert your DVD with.
5. Click OK and complete your conversion.

Hello again, many thanks for your above advice, unfortunately, it made no difference. I can play DVDs in Windows Media Player, but I'm not sure how to go to wherever on the PC to find out what the DVD playing software is - sorry. It is strange why this has suddenly gone so wrong, it never gave me any bother at all before.

Can you try to uninstall our M²Convert software and reinstall it on your computer? Does this help. Do you get this error on all the DVDs you try to convert using our software?

Please provide me with the following information:
1. Can you play your AVI files correctly using windows media player?
2. You are using M2Convert for iPod. Is this correct?
If yes, what is the version of M2Convert for iPod that you use?
3. What is the operating system that you use?

Thanks,
Maen Badwan
