09-12-2006, 21:11 dotty Joined on 09-13-2006 Posts 3 error msg. this is my first time using M2convert for PSP but I've come across some errors I hope someone could answer for me. As I add a DVD to the list and try to edit the play list when I hit the play button to preview the chapter I get a error message telling me that the feature is not supported by the program or something now that part of the program freezes everytime, the other error I encounter is when I press the convert button I get a popup telling me Coversion completed but on the list box under status I get the messge Error:LTMM (0x80070016) so nothing happens. Does anyone know what's wrong Ive read on other posts that the program uses alot from Window media player to try to get the DVD to play here but WMP does not allow me to play the movie as well.............if someone has an answer. First off, do you know if you have any DVD viewing software on your machine?  M²Convert uses your DVD viewing software to acquire the video.  If you do not have any installed, please take a look at the software that came with either your computer or your DVD player to see if this software was included (most likely it was) and install it. If you DO have DVD playing software installed on your machine. I would like to make sure you have the latest version of our software because a lot of these kinds of issues have been resolved in our newer build.  Please open your program and then right-click on the title-bar at the very top of your window.  Select "About M²Convert..." and the version and build number should be at the top of the new window that appears.  If your version and build number is lower than "1.1 (build 016)" for iPod and PSP and lower than "1.1 (build 015) for ZEN, then you should reinstall M²Convert.   You can remove M²Convert by clicking your start button then selecting "Settings" and then "Control Panel".  From here, look for the icon titled "Add or Remove Programs" and clicking it.  You will get a list of all the applications that have been installed on your machine.  From here you can select M²Convert for [iPod/PSP/Zen] and click the button titled "Change/Remove".  This will pull up a wizard where you can follow the instructions for removing the program. You can download the latest copy of the software here: http://www.m2solutionsinc.com/download-eval.htm I'm referencing a mirrored site to make sure you don't get the older version cached in your browser.  Follow the same installation procedure as before.   If you have the latest version, please let me know so I can look into the issue some more. 09-18-2006, 17:48 dotty Joined on 09-13-2006 Posts 3 Re: error msg. i downloaded a newer version build 16 but I still get the same errors and also I do have the dvd software to view it on my computer the program called NERO Showtime and it plays my dvds. theres just something that has to do with my CP o the software cnfiguration?.    Report

Can the DVD play properly in Windows Media Player?  If not, then there might be a conflict with NERO.  In either case, In order to better understand the cause of issue you have described, I will need you to create a log file.  Once I have this log file, I can send it to our developers to see if they can tell what is causing the issue. ======================================= Log file instructions removed by moderator. This is most likely the problem.  Try uninstalling your DVD viewing software you mentioned before and then reinstalling it.  If this was NOT the DVD software that came with your DVD player, try whatever came with your DVD player before reinstalling Nero.  If Nero is the only DVD viewing software you have, then look for some settings that have to deal with DirectShow or DirectX and see if this helps the problem. I haven't used Nero before for playing DVDs, but another agent says that he has and it worked for him before.  It is possible that another piece of software installed has corrupted Nero's (or any other DVD viewing software) relationship with DirectShow.
