Problem with decoders...
Reply Quote
I am getting a new message all of a sudden.
"The decoders installed on your system are not currently supported by this application."
It then shuts down m2convert.
Any suggestions would help.
Thanks.

Are you able to play your Files in Windows Media Player? What type of media files are you trying to convert? If you are converting DVDs what is the DVD playing software that you have installed on you machine?

I'd like to know what version of the software you are using. Can you
right-click on the title bar at the top of the application and click the
option titled "About M²Convert...". A window should pop up and there should be
a version number and a build number at the top of this window\; could you tell
me what this number is?

The first thing to try is eliminating the possibility of a corrupted setup in which on or more DLLs was not installed successfully.

From the setup EXE you downloaded, the setup and choose the "Repair" option. This will install any messing DLLs that may not have been installed from the previous installation. Let me know how it goes.

It is 1.1 (build 021). Most commonly the files are .avi files. It seems like when I have problems converting a file that I also have issues getting it to play with windows media player as well. I have gone through the repair process and do not have a download to convert at the moment that fits the problem. I will let you know when I can duplicate the problem.
Thanks,
