Error when using XviD codecs
Reply Quote
I'm getting an error when trying to back up a DVD to file using XviD codecs. Error says "Statsfile not found" I tried directly from the DVD drive and from a DVD already copied to my hard drive. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the codec with the same results. Using XviD v1.1.2.

DivX or any other codec I've tried seems to work fine.

Any help would be appriciated, thanks.

Since conversion works with other codecs, it's probably not a problem caused by our converter, but most likely related to the codec itself or its configuration.

Try to search Google for the following terms, and you might find useful advice:

xvid "statsfile not found"

Seems like you got me going in the right direction. After poking around a little bit it does seem like an xvid error.

Thanks for the help.
