In most cases, this error is related to the file being converted. Can you please give me more information on what is happening at your end? Does this error message appear on the files that you are trying? Do your MP4 files play correctly on Windows Media Player? What is your Windows operating system?  I'd like to know what version of the software you are using. Can you right-click on the title bar at the top of the application and click the option titled "About M²Convert...".
