I just bought an 8meg Zen X-Fi and an 8 meg SDHC card.

Can you run the convert, as either an AVI or WMV format, and copy the file to the SDHC card then play the video from the SDHC card or does the video have to reside in the Zen X-Fi on board memory in order to play it?

I can convert DVDs just fine.....except......the chapters come out in the wrong order!!!!!

when I first downloaded the trial I tried to convert a .avi file to both of the video formats, but both times it would say error: video stream could not be rendered...
can anyone help me :D

I can't convert videos to a Zen compatible format. Please help me!!!!

Hi everyone! I've just download the trial version of M2 Convert for Zen to get familiar with the program, but I try to convert videos to a compatible format for Zen but I can't

The message is Error: the audio stream could not be rendered.

What's wrong?? Maybe a problem with my Pc?

If I take a DVD with several episodes on it and edit the playlist to only choose 2 out of x episodes,
will the application create ONE file or TWO files ?

I am trying to convert a DVD for my ZEN Vision M and I get an error that says the source file does not contain audio or video. I have read other posts where you ask what DVD player software the user has installed as there are compatibility issues with M2Convert.

When I insert a DVD, my only player options are Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player (v 11). I am running Windows XP Media Center edition. No other DVD player software is installed.

What do I need to do to make this application work correctly?

I have just began to use this service and use http://www.techcrunch.com/get-youtube-movie/ to get the file on the net. I get that and put it into the m2 convert, then click convert. In the preview screen I am noticing that some videos have like a green bar at the bottom of the page. Depending of the camera moving, the green bar goes up and down the screen like kinda like an EQ. Anyone heard of that at all?

Trial limits?

Are there trial limits? Converting a video is not syncing audio and video when played on a Zen 4GB. The app was downloaded a few days ago (M2Convert for Zen 2.0). XP Pro on the PC. Copied the .WMV directly to the Zen (no conversion of the movie after M2Convert). Also, fast forwarding is not working.

file size after conversion?

Im considering this program, Im wondering how the M2 conversion is different from other conversion programs?
I have the 8gig Zen and Im wondering how many hours of video I can expect to get using this format?
Lets use an 1.0 gig, avi file for an example, what size would the file be after the conversion and to where
the quality is still very good? Thanks, Dan

From the website it boosts - they dont specify what gig zen they are addressing...
